This is a storied piece of Texas dirt! It is conveniently located off of HWY 190, just 12 minutes west of Brady. The Caddo Ridge name was derived from the Battle of Calf Creek, where the Caddo and Lipan Apache Indians fought Jim Bowie. During that time it was assumed that the Caddo Indians traveled over the loan ridge on property. Travel distance to the ranch is two hours from Austin and two and a quarter hours from San Antonio. The ranch has a wet weather creek, Hog Creek, which meanders through the southwest section of the property. The drainage to Hog Creek would seem to be a great location to create a water feature. There is one tank towards the northern section of the ranch that catches runoff and could be supplemented by the newly drilled well! There is very little cedar on this property and most of the Trees found are Live Oak and Shin Oak. Turkey, Quail, Dove, Coyotes, Pigs, Blackbucks, and Whitetails have all been harvested on the ranch.
